Terms document with a forecast line

The short version

Three points sum up the rest of this page.

  • 01

    Estimates, not promises

Our calculators show what your inputs suggest. They are a starting point for a plan. They are not a quote or a guarantee.

  • 02

    No ranking guarantees

Nobody controls Google. We never promise a position or a date. We forecast, then report honestly against that forecast.

  • 03

    Fair use of the site

Use the tools for your own work. Do not scrape, overload or copy the site as a whole.

The full terms

1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply to anyone who visits seoroicalculator.com. That includes the free tools, the guides and the contact form.

By using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

Paid SEO work is covered by a separate written agreement. If that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement wins.

2. How to read the calculator results

The ROI calculator and our other free tools run on the numbers you type in. Traffic, growth, conversion rate, order value and costs all shape the result.

The output is a model. Real results depend on your market, your site, your competitors and search engine changes.

Do not treat any figure as financial, legal or tax advice. Check big budget choices with your own advisers.

3. Guides, templates and other content

We write our guides and templates to be accurate and useful. Even so, search changes fast. Some details may age.

You may use our templates inside your own business, including in reports to your team or board. You may not resell them or pass them off as your own product.

Short quotes with a link back to the source page are welcome.

4. What we ask of you

Please give honest details when you contact us. Do not submit someone else's data without their consent.

Do not try to break, probe or overload the site. Do not send automated requests at scale. Do not upload harmful code.

We may block access that puts the site or other visitors at risk.

5. Consultations and audit requests

Asking for a free consultation or audit does not create a contract. It simply starts a conversation.

Any paid work begins only once both sides agree the scope, price and timeline in writing.

How we handle the details you send is set out in our privacy notice.

6. Who owns what

The site design, text, code, tools and graphics belong to us or to those who license them to us.

Product names such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush and Screaming Frog belong to their owners. Naming them does not imply any link or endorsement.

7. Limits of our responsibility

We provide the site and its free tools as they are. We aim to keep them working, but we cannot promise they will always be available or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on a free estimate. That includes lost profit or lost budget.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and our services grow. The date at the top shows the latest version.

If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
