Case studies that show the payback, not just the traffic

A good case study answers one question. Did the SEO spend come back as revenue? Ours show traffic, sales and ROI before and after. Each one sits next to the forecast we made at the start.

Before, forecast and actual on one chart. That is the shape of every report.

Six numbers in every case study

Same format, every time. You can compare one project with another. You can also hold us to the plan.

  1. 01

    The starting point

Monthly organic traffic, conversion rate and order value before work began. This is the baseline every gain is measured from.

  2. 02

    The forecast we made

What we expected in traffic, sales and revenue. It is shown in full, so you can see if we were right.

  3. 03

    Organic traffic, before and after

Visits from search over the same months, year on year. Seasonal swings are called out, not hidden.

  4. 04

    Conversions

Sales or qualified leads from organic search. Traffic that never converts does not count as a win.

  5. 05

    Added revenue

The extra revenue from search, tracked in GA4 (Google Analytics 4). Year one and year two are kept apart.

  6. 06

    ROI and payback month

Total return against the full SEO cost. We also name the month the work paid for itself.

Browse by the kind of work

Case studies are grouped by the problem they solved. Each group links to the service behind it.

Technical fixes and migrations

How to read the ROI line

ROI (return on investment) is the money gained, less the cost, divided by the cost. We use the same sum as our free calculator. The figures here are a sample to show the math. They are not a client result.

ROI = (added revenue − SEO cost) ÷ SEO cost

Try it with your own numbers

Sample calculation

SEO investment over two years
$48,000
Added organic sales over two years
800
Average order value
$120
Added revenue
$96,000
Two-year ROI
100%

$96,000 less $48,000 is $48,000 gained. That gain divided by the $48,000 cost is 100%.

Our rules for an honest case study

Results are easy to dress up. These four rules stop that. They are the same rules behind our monthly reporting.

  • 01

    Forecast next to actual

Every result sits beside the number we promised. Misses stay in the report.

  • 02

    Fair time windows

We compare like with like, month for month. No hand-picked best quarter.

  • 03

    Revenue, not rankings

Positions and clicks give context. The headline is always money and payback.

  • 04

    Every cost counted

ROI uses the full spend: fees, content and tools. Nothing is left out to flatter the result.
