We ask clients to trust our forecasts. So we hold ourselves to the same rule with data. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version

  • 01

Your calculator figures stay with you

The ROI maths runs in your browser. We do not save the traffic, sales or budget numbers you type in.

  • 02

You choose what you send us

We only get personal details when you fill in the contact form. Each field has a clear purpose.

  • 03

    No data sales, ever

We do not sell, rent or trade your details. Nor do we pass them to ad networks.

What we collect

SEO ROI Calculator is run by the team behind this site. We are the data controller for the details covered here.

Calculator inputs. When you enter traffic, growth, conversion rate, order value, cost per sale and SEO spend, the numbers are worked out in your browser. They are not sent to us.

Contact form. If you ask for a consultation or audit, the form may ask for your name, email, website, company type, monthly traffic, budget range, main goal and a message. Only share what you are happy for us to read.

Technical data. Like any website, our host records basic request data. This includes IP address, browser type and the page asked for. It helps us block abuse and fix errors.

How we use it

We use form answers to reply to you and to shape a forecast around your real numbers. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask. We never use your data to build ad profiles.

Analytics only run if you allow them in the cookie banner. They tell us which tools and guides are useful. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie in detail.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run the site. That means hosting, form storage and, with consent, analytics. They may only use it on our behalf.

Some providers may process data outside your country. When that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contract clauses. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

Data at a glance

Five kinds of data, why each exists and how long it stays.

Consent cookie (roi_ledger) To remember your cookie choice Needed to run the site 12 months

Server logs To keep the site safe and working Legitimate interest Short term, then deleted

Your rights

Where data laws such as the GDPR apply, you have these rights. Asking is free. We will reply within the time the law sets.

  • See your data

Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Fix it

Ask us to correct details that are wrong or out of date.

  • Delete it

Ask us to erase your data when we no longer need it.

  • Limit or object

Ask us to pause or stop a use you do not agree with.

  • Take it with you

Get your form answers in a common, readable format.

  • Withdraw consent

Turn analytics off at any time. It does not affect past use.

You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We would like the chance to fix things first.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Big changes get a clear note on the site. For any privacy question or request, use our contact page and say it is a privacy request.
